Afterward he described the whole thing as surreal in the best way, saying he was just excited to “start a new life” with someone he called “a good one in my corner.”
Swapping Spreadsheets for Paint Brushes
Amanda’s shift from finance to art didn’t happen overnight. For a while she was juggling long days at Bank of America and weekends on the road with Bubba. Over time, her painting picked up more momentum, and she eased out of the analyst role to create a life that let her support his schedule and still have something that was purely hers.
Now, when she’s not at the track or managing the chaos of travel and family, she’s in her studio, working on commissions and original pieces. For someone married to a driver who lives on adrenaline, her work has a slower, calmer feel — lots of texture, color and time.

Baby Becks and a New Kind of Victory Lane
In April 2024, Bubba and Amanda announced they were expecting their first child, sharing ultrasound photos and a short poem on social media that ended with the line “we can’t wait to meet you.”
Their son, Becks Hayden Wallace, arrived on September 29, 2024. He made his entrance at a very NASCAR time: race weekend. Bubba wrapped up his work at Kansas Speedway and then hustled back to North Carolina in time for the birth. In their announcement, the couple wrote about nine months of waiting and how it was all “worth it” once they finally saw his face.
Since then, Becks has already made a few early appearances at the track, headphones on, in his parents’ arms. He was there in 2025 when Bubba scored a historic Brickyard 400 win on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval, a moment that meant a lot both personally and for the sport.
At home, the kid shares space with Asher, the couple’s energetic Australian shepherd–poodle mix, who often photobombs family pictures and is treated like the original “fur child.”
